Normally, I’d have hardly been hurt by this manga’s non-progress.
But with Takamine-san’s latest chapter still fresh in my mind, this just feels like a “Dense MC” assault on my nerves.
@cjyniz Ranko did mention some stuff about a time when she was scared of thunders and he was there.
But I do think it’s a well-portrayed attraction from both girls. It’s not just one factor as much as it's lots of familiarity and Tatara being a pretty nice guy, albeit blind.
And once again, Yuzuhara and Haruka look so much like each other that I thought that flashback was Haruka’s for the entire chapter until I read the comments.
Also, Jesus, it’s gonna be a long winter.
The whole "we ended up here while walking aimlessly" idea reminded me of my time reading Junji Ito, and legitimately gave me some slight creeps in this comedy/adventure manga.
This is that concept of not noticing you're only doing the bidding of a force far above your comprehension that he does...
Oooookaaaaay, I did NOT expect the story to be so tightly woven together, but this is some interesting lore. Though the revelation about the other kingdom did come a bit abruptly, Chloe’s past is pretty intriguing.
Thanks for the TL.
Ace435 It's ok on the spoilers, I did read Netsuzou. And while Takeda is a real stand up guy given what he had to deal with, I was fuming from all cylinders every time Fujiwara was given any focus. And I guess his presence did weight in a lot more on my opinion of the manga instead of Takeda's.
Yeah, I'm gonna yeet my laptop out of the window after that ending. BRB.
In other news, Takamine in a regular student uniform looks her most appealing to me. Kinda cute, professional and non-intimidating.
Interesting chapter, and having rivals is fine and stuff... but did the author HAVE to design them nearly identically?
It took me several minutes to figure out Mizuki wasn't just Kurumi with the ponytail hidden behind her head.
Ok, there's a few too many story threads to wrap here for my liking, but if the next chapter is a little longer, there might be enough room to properly finish this manga. I know I've been burned before, but I really wanna hope this ending turns out great and not rushed.
But holy shit! This is...
Fuck, I don't do well with "visiting a deceased one's place" scenes.
And after Violet Evergarden, I do even worse with "visiting parents who lost their children" scenes.
And THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is how you build up a proper kiss in a romance story. Lovable characters, fresh memory from previous events, nice angles and scenery, no distractions... impeccable.
Damn, this is on par with some yuri manga I've read. Fucking God-tier kiss there.
