I had to stop reading twice to kick and squee, and when I got to the end I went back and read it all again. Oh goodness, these two are so cute! And wholesome! And they make so much progress! There have been a million and one manga that have used the "cute" "isn't it?" exchange without the guy...

@Qelix In most relay races, you're not supposed to run back to your teammate — there's a point you're not allowed to cross, and your teammate has to get the baton to that point and hand it off to you before you can move. (You also can't throw the baton.) He probably can't run back to catch her...
