Being dumb is like a trademark of this manga. The main characters are powerful and sometimes show their intellect but when it is truly needed they just drop all their weapons and bow down to the enemies. Btw for the first time the MC has stood up and that too brilliantly.

That hit him real hard. Everyone will be like that after what he saw, it needs time to let it sink in and then make a rational decision. Their relationship would not have turned out good if he said Yes on the spurt as it will affect their life and in relationships you don't want some on the go...

After going through the first chapter it seemed like it will be a good read and the plot will be interesting but the comments say the opposite, the MC is a big piece of cake.

The story is becoming absurd and the MCs stupidity level has reached far beyond heavens. How can he simply give his identity and trust anybody after what has happened to him earlier. @Almaravarion Man you nailed it.

The art has deteriorated so much over the period of time and the length of the chapters too has shortened.

It seems the story hasn't moved at all. For so many chapters we are waiting for the confrontation but to no avail. And the boss loves him but why bother now when you were the one to set him up. It's too cliche. Only the art was good in some chapters and the image quality is somewhat medicore.
