Look at that parallel yet again. First Shin failed to save Seikyou at Tonryuu, now it's Kyou Kai who failed to save Ten from Junsou - and it's as @pdonk said, this being new, but the second time they've argued this fiercely since Kyou Kai's assassination attempt on Sei. Interesting.

Now that I'm re-reading Kingdom, it feels like Ouhon's strategy here was inspired from the coalition arc. Wew. What an arse, but a smart one at that.

Rui's really strong. I like that she cried, but still continued to walk forward. Such a good character. 😭 (On another note, this may be too early to say, but aside from Seikyou, I think Ouhon would be a good match for her.)

It'd be interesting to see how Ouhon and Mouten will react to Kyou Kai's quick rise, given that she's doing it alongside Shin.

So for Shin, it's called having that "weight" of carrying the wishes and memories of the people you've met. For Kyou Kai, it's that "light" that will enable her to return from the Hakuryou. Interesting.
