Damn, in a series full of people fucked up in the head. The guy whose first appearance involved him screeching unintelligibly like an animal turned out to be among the most reasonable and sympathetic of the bunch regardless of sides.
Can't be shounen without MC fuckin' passing out after a big battle. And of course he'd be fine and chirpy the next chapter like nothing bad will ever hit his unconscious ass in that danger zone. The real plot armor.
Have read the wn. This started off pretty good, then a certain chapter happened and it single-handedly nuked it off my reading list. Should be a while before the manga gets to that point though. Enjoy it while you can.
This and chapter 124 can work as a social commentary of modern humans. Believe what you want to believe, accept only the ideal you have formed in your head, deny everything else and ultimately lead yourselves and perhaps even people around you to ruin.
I'll take a well executed 'cliche' like this than being 'original' for the sake of being 'original' (and eventually get axed early cuz the artist can only keep it up for so long before it's not 'original' anymore')
Closer and closer to the theory of him being the black winged demon lord himself. There's probably some sort of convoluted plot where it turned out that his parallel older self has been trying to go back to the past and the most efficient way of doing that is by playing the role the demon lord...
