Oh fuck I hate amnesia as a plot element. Especially when it doesn't resemble actual amnesia at all. Unless your hippocampus was physically damaged, the chance of amnesia causing you to forget basic bodily functions is extremely low.

@icekatze Not sure where you're from, but illusion literally means that it is intangible and does not exist, and I've never heard is used in another way. They were clearly talking about casualties within the illusion. The translation is fine.

@domrin I think part of it, at least for me, is that it's a pallet cleanser between all the dramatic and overly complicated plots that a lot of manga have. There's no villains, just a dude getting shit done with his spider bros, wolves, and monster girl waifus. That kind of straight forward...

@frenchfry Why not? It would be a good resolution to the childhood arc, and the other mysterious bad guys seem a lot more like main villains than him anyway. Bai Li Ji seems like a macguffin to me.
