Thank you for the chapter, this is delightfully well translated! I've read manga for twenty years and this is one of the best translations I've ever seen, and maybe the one I've enjoyed most. I always look forward to the letters and historical tidbits at the end of the chapters.

I must say, I simply love the translation. At first, I was afraid of how a foreign lady would be depicted in a manga (sorry manga, it's just I've had some bad experiences) and indeed Miss Bird is a bit moe-fied as the translator put it, and for whatever reason, grown younger from the 47 years...

@Nerderey I agree that whether the series itself is homophobic is somewhat of a concern, though I didn't want to jump to conclusions too quickly. After all not all the gays are villains, and we can't be sure yet that all the villains are gay. And, I find the much despised power couple...
