This manga started out fine (and even exciting) but along the way, the plot progression got confusing/weak and the drama over exaggerated. Though the main characters are developing, they do so in a skewed(?) manner. It has potential but right now it just feels off.
I kind of get the feeling the scumbag guy was used to help the MC reflect on his current situation and make progress towards their relationship. However, I think I get what most people are saying in how the latest chapter played out. First, why would you even listen to a rapist spout his ideals...
Fairy Tail always has a special place in my heart, but kinda sad it slowly went down. Not as much friendship power like in the prequel, but the crazy power-ups were a bit of a downer. Edens Zero does a slightly better job, though I don't get why it has such a low rating.
It's funny how a lot of people complain about the lack of "plot" and "character growth" when it was obvious from the start as to what type of manga this is aiming to become. Same people who complain about Takagi-san and Pseudo Harem. Better to criticise manga who tried having plot but failed to...
