This series is always exceeding my expectations for it.
I got the first three paper volumes of this and they're great. You should all toss those onto your holiday gift lists.
I appreciate that they moved this part of the plot along so quickly, but these guys are bad at their jobs. Like, we go straight to 'secret peeping mirror in the baths' before anybody even considers 'my wife saw your wife in the baths'.
I just finished reading this arc in the web novel and Dario was not involved at all through the whole thing.
I cannot see his addition in this version helping.
Less strawman war correspondents and munitions fetishism, more Itami and other soldiers getting caught up in fantasy world shenanigans please.

As a gamedev programmer who has transitioned to a design lead, this chapter was too real. Especially that "you don't have time to do that" line.
Don't worry, production will shoot down the new models design just added. And the new bathroom environment they won't notice they've also asked for...
