Gotta feel a little bit for Denis there, even though he "won" and married Adela she just kept apologizing and carrying the guilt for what she did to Marlin. Gotta be a bitter pill to swallow, especially with the deathbed confession of how he "won" due to her cheating in his favor in the first place.
Am I the only one who thinks the magic compatibility exam was created not to shun those with no elemental affinity, but to show that even those with no affinity can achieve great things in the world of magic with hard work like MC did? Sure he wasn't as gifted or as talented at manipulating...
@Potato
Based on the conversation I'd assume it's King Daba. Sasae will probably use him to keep order in Daba country in the shadows since he can't be there all the time.
Sherry is screwed more so since he let her live, her creditors are going to come to collect(make her a slave) in a couple days, she's done nothing to overturn her team killer reputation so no one else will party with her, the man who said he had taken on her debt(even though he probably didn't)...
@Merilirem
In this case he's trying to ruin Marcia so that he can pressure her into marrying him, he doesn't care that much about the competition outside of that iirc.
>I don't want to stand out
>Notices and destroys drones professor is using to view his actions remotely
Yeah, you'd think he'd have realized that ship has long since sailed since he took the entrance exam by now.
This arc is good because it shows how precarious the position the King is in with regards to the 4 Noble houses, . Also to everyone who thinks the situation will be resolved by Rain renouncing her claim to the throne - so yeah that's not an option.
After reading this: https://ncode.syosetu.com/s6442c/ The fate of the Prince is much more bleak than expected, since the Queen is a 50ish year old woman who only really wants the prince in order to get her hands on the Baron's daughter lol.
@Mick96
It's probably moreso outside of his strength Sansui is boring. I feel like Brower fell for him simply because she knew she'd never get to be with anyone else and they'd worked together for years.
@Giachia
She sold herself to take attention away from the rest of her family running away, because they would have been enslaved/killed as well. Having money really doesn't mean much when your whole family has been labeled traitors by the Royal family.
