Gotta feel a little bit for Denis there, even though he "won" and married Adela she just kept apologizing and carrying the guilt for what she did to Marlin. Gotta be a bitter pill to swallow, especially with the deathbed confession of how he "won" due to her cheating in his favor in the first place.

Am I the only one who thinks the magic compatibility exam was created not to shun those with no elemental affinity, but to show that even those with no affinity can achieve great things in the world of magic with hard work like MC did? Sure he wasn't as gifted or as talented at manipulating...

@Potato Based on the conversation I'd assume it's King Daba. Sasae will probably use him to keep order in Daba country in the shadows since he can't be there all the time.

This arc is good because it shows how precarious the position the King is in with regards to the 4 Noble houses, . Also to everyone who thinks the situation will be resolved by Rain renouncing her claim to the throne - so yeah that's not an option.
