None of this happens if he just mentions or even shows his healing skill. As a "gamer" he'd want to know the healing and average healer has and adjust what he reports his as to protect himself as obviously reporting he has max healing would draw the attention of the King. I'd want to believe...
@Doomer
I think the barrier not only keeps her in but prevents her from killing anyone inside, hence why Sandra isn't already dead from the whippings/torture.
@BloodySorcerer
Did I blame Licorice for the Emperor being tyrannical? Nope. But betraying the people who have shown you nothing but goodwill to SUPPORT said Emperor puts her in the wrong. She sided with the Emperor not even knowing the events that lead to the Waldecian Empire's destruction and...
If they were trying to invoke sympathy for Licorice in the reader, they failed. At this point she needs to disappear along with all the other Brandt citizens. Seeing how downright tyrannical the Emperor is, how could she have even an inkling of belief he won't slaughter and subjugate the outside...
Leslie gets more love during one meal than she got in her first 12 years of life. I just want the Speardo family to be crushed for their crime against her already.
I hope things stay relatively calm in the village, but you know his former party members and the nobility will create havoc once they find out where he ran off to.
Well if they had any doubts of what the Doctor was saying, the Emperor immediately coming in and attempting to kill someone pretty much proves he was right to go with the brainwashing plan.
This is going to spectacularly backfire on the Goddess eventually, obviously. But I'm really looking forward to seeing if the Goddess is going to send someone after Lugh after he completes his "job:". She doesn't seem like she wants her "assets" to stick around after their role is complete.
>Actually going to go to trial to get Leslie back
Oh god, the Speardo family is done. I hope that book about killing the silver haired children ends up in the courtroom, it'll be glorious.
Between her friend and Graham, they really seem to be trying to unsettle her from discussing anything with Graham until she accepts and gets married. And he's getting more and more possessive and pushy as well.
I wonder if the Hero keeps falling in love with her across her lives just to keep her away from her true fated one. She keeps getting bad ended and there is no way a Hero would be stupid enough to ignore what schemes marrying a commoner would invoke from the nobility and royals.
Its probably gonna get much worse before it gets better for Leslie, hopefully whatever he does accelerates her leaving the Speardo family for good. As for Eli
