jesus, I commented this last time but this father sounds more and more like my own. For anyone who thinks the father is unrealistic think again, this is what a narcissist is like to the people inside their family and this story hits the nail on the head in that aspect.

Holy shit those words, it's almost exactly the kind of thing my asshole of a used to say about me ("That kid doesn't have any hobbies"). Man that hits home.

Damn I want more, this is getting so exciting.

@kimikuman12 Both her selfishness and her obsession with books become so much more bearable later in the story, so if you generally like it besides those flaws I recommend you bear through it for a while to get to the good parts.

These chapters always heal my heart, I want more.

@SoloSera You may not be able to imagine it but people who have never once heard praise in their life and were even becoming criminal burst out in tears and apologize if you give them even the slightest SINCERE comforting/praise and years later despite being harassed and ignored just as badly...

So far this series gave me a good laugh and I am really looking forward to more.

This chapter was both so shocking and yet gave so much character to her.

The drama going on here should follow the rule "Any claim made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence." As long as neither side provides evidence I think it is best to presume innocence without completely dismissing the claims made in this chapter.
