@athenasmile well even if she did confront her father about it it'd probably just get brushed off if not result in him doing something worse. maryjune though seems to have her father's ear, so if she were to speak up he would at least be given pause.
wow, even when he does something different that actually in a way prevents keira from being outright humiliated I still fucking hate him and want him to suffer horribly because this in no way makes up for anything :D
@athenasmile I wouldn't want her to, honestly I'd like it if she got as far away from her family as possible. I know her half-sister means well and isn't antagonistic toward her, but intentional or not she's still complicit the abuse their father heaps onto vio, and she doesn't seem to do...
@thegiantpossum ...yea no you're pretty much right. especially with the prince's current relationship with vio. it's pretty one sided and yulan making him understand vio's situation shows he never cared enough to understand it up to this point. so... effectively he's only interested now because...
@TanithG it's still a bit shallow to me, mostly because the root of this sudden interest is almost entirely from him wanting the attention all of the sudden. factor in the revelation here that basically the only reason in the previous cycle his interest in her sister stems mostly from pity, it...
@sorarinnie he's not even really a bad character but i do want her to end up with yulan instead seeing as he's always been there for her. the prince more frustrates me because he comes across as fickle. as many have pointed out, the only reason he's taking an interest in vio now is rooted in her...
@TanithG it still kinda makes him seem a bit shallow honestly, since the crux of it is still "he didn't notice her good points until she stopped bothering him"
@DanceInTheDark i like him too, i like how his flaw is he's too quick to throw himself to death for others out of a guilt complex, but it's not over the top, it's in small ways that become more striking the longer this goes on because he's getting worn down
@Darkmeep if he was bullying them that'd be one thing, but no, that's just what he thinks for real, actively encouraging romance at school as long as they aren't bein inappropriate about it. he is best boi
@FStubbs as the novel goes on she at least gets better in that she's reflecting on how she acted enough to start understanding WHY finn/flick left... of course she's still trying to dance around the possibility of it being her fault.
@ravlen i don't think there's anything wrong with him being against someone injuring themselves for the sake of demonstrating something. (he probably reacted that way BECAUSE of his past relationship if anything)
@CrynoZephyr if i recall right in the web novel it's kinda inferred he's the first person she's ever really admired and was attracted to, so it's not surprising she'd border on obsessive
