Rin, the adult, is energetic and childlike, with floof fetishes.

@LordFifthIsLife : Maybe they did build it up properly during the story, since I did skip the rest of it to the end.
@KB1011 : Clearly there's only one answer:
So....because curiosity......I went to the latest WN chapter to see if there's some interesting reveal/twist......so here be waaaaaaaaaaaaaay major spoilers (assuming the manga follows the WN anyway)

Just because I think it'd be funny: I hope the wariness is just her misunderstanding.
Where the reality is that after being told by the spirits that the miko was nearby, the elves came and found Lerunda.
And their stern look was just them being extremely nervous trying to not to go all fangirl...

Same with Yurik this chapter.
How will she accidentally create herself a harem if she doesn't wander off and trip over flags left n right?

And now he's on the route to just replace the MC in general....
"Yes, I've gotten my engagement annulled! I had to use my pile of evidence to prevent the excessive punishment but now I can have laid back life!"
*suddenly reverse harem appears*
"Oh no"
Mission failed successfully.
