"Every morning when I wake up, I quietly wish that I won't see them today" That line is easy to miss but DAMN that's a lot of character in just one sentence. I need nothing more than that to know the way Miko is dealing with everything and to really cheer for her. Such a lovable MC.
I didn't like the chapter, but I'm really interested in the idea of making this meta-narratives, taking manga tropes and using them as base material. Manga is filled with all the same stuff and something like this can be refreshing if done correctly.
I would've liked Leo to stay "starless" and improve by sheer effort. I know that goes againts what was stablished about the power system, but showing Leo word hard would've been more satisfying that just giving her three stars out of nowhere.
I still liked the episode tho! It's not a complaint...
I'm re-reading this manga and MY GOD the comment sections. I think it's healthier to read this as a story more than a manga. Might sound stupid but I think the tags and stereotypes in manga do more harm than good. I used to trust the rating in mangadex and, as a rule, didn't watch series with...
Despite all the flaws in pacing (like when the sister changed hearts in 3 chapters or with that girl that fell in love in 2) I can't help but think this is a good manga that explores interesting aspects of love and relationships
I don't think this will happen but I would really like for this to go wrong so she "confirms" her dislike of being with others. I think that would create a good character arc for her.
I love that in the beginning Chiaki looked like the thirsty one, but now I know Harumi is the one that is going to suggest the threesome.
ALSO "the three of us could do all kinds of things together" ... alright Akira! I was on board with it from the beginning, you don't have to sell it that hard.
That scalated quickly... also, it's wise from the author to make this move now, because people that read the manga up until this point are much more willing to accept something like this happening.
