Yeah, I don't feel pity or anything for Xue Yang. I feel bad for kid he was, who didn't deserve any of the abuse, but I don't feel bad for him and the choices he made later on

This is actually my favorite flashback of the novel, even though it's heart-breaking. The flashbacks of WXX and LWJ's childhood/adolescence always seem to go on too long, but this flashback has the best pacing and makes me actually care deeply about these side characters.....except Xue Yang...

Xue Yang, you push a man to this extreme, he kills himself in anguish, and then you wonder that his soul is shattered beyond repair? WTF?

He didn't kill you immediately because Xue Yang is fucking cruel and doesn't mind playing a long game and killing tons of other uninvolved people as long as he gets revenge

Nah, Xue Yang doesn't care about them, you'll see as you read more, or if you read the novel, it's laid out more clearly

You shouldn't have let Xue Yang talk, and should have just killed him

Ignoring everything else he's done/will do, this right here is enough to make me hate Xue Yang forever
