@Darklight99 yeah, definitely. He really went above and beyond for his wife, son, and sister-in-law, too. Merii sure was happy to be free.
@darekpawlo Well, the translator says we shouldn't spoil stuff, but the actual website on which Zyugoya posts should be common knowledge, right? I'll put it...
@ksen Well, you've got good taste in manga, I love this story too--the latest chapters have catapulted it from just something laid-back that I appreciated into one of my absolute favorites :D
@psuedonymous True, but also, do we know when that pic of Merii was taken? Even if it was published in the paper "recently" it might have been taken soon after she was put into custody, i.e ~3 years ago.
@Ksen Oh hey, you're Ksenolog, right? I didn't think I'd see you here too :D
Anyways, great chapter, thanks again for the translation, @xxsaznpride. I knew Zeke wouldn't just up and abandon Lorem and Gospel, though I suppose I was incorrect about the specific details...it sounds like he...
@ckcw23 @Bachenaugen

@LostWorld It seems like Zeke was looking forward to being a father too. If I had to bet, like I mentioned in another comment, C.A.T.T found him out and forced him back in, possibly as punishment for going AWOL. But if they found out he had actually been "sleeping with the enemy" (they thought...
@07mak
Yeah, there's a lot of foreshadowing--the author, Zyugoya, really knows his stuff, as the translator always says. Little details like Gospel's wings and tail, the brief shot of Zeke in the chapter where Lorem mentions how she lost a lot of things, the previous references to Zeke "not...
@NoTofu I think so too. IRL, special forces teams or tactical police outfits like C.A.T.T (stuff like SWAT teams or whatnot) don't take well to their members just going AWOL. They might have been within their (legal) rights to imprison Zeke (or worse) if they found out he was just chilling (with...
