Pretty lighthearted chapter, but the ending clearly suggests things are gonna hit the fan very soon.
For a moment, I thought So-wol wanted Maria to beat her ass again so she was purposely trying to ruin their facade at the beginning of the chapter lol. Well, at least Ji-tae seems to have...
I think the fight between So-wol and Tae-young will happen at some point. They have teased their dynamic too much for them to not fight eventually. Also, what makes you think Ba-ram is shady? I also think we haven't seen all from him but I really think he's a good dude. @Starstorm1
Thanks for the new chapter!
So basically, So-wol would've been in Ji-tae's place as Maria's apprentice/minion if it wasn't for her missing leg. Could explain why she's so interested in him.
Also, I guess now we know why she quit smoking which started the whole bubblegum gimmick.
I have to say this last stretch of chapters has been nothing sort of amazing. Just as you said it was gonna be. I'm really intrigued about Sowol's past and why she's so suddenly interested in Ji-tae. My guess is she wants to protect him to get in Maria's good graces lol. Where did you say you...
@Mangareader @alexsilener Yeah, everyone got their asses handed to them in the first round.
We don't know most of the times but we do know Eun-sol placed third
Tae-young placed second
And that Ha-min got knocked out in 7 seconds lmao
Now we know who placed first, although a lot of...
Well, I guess it was just a matter of time before someone noticed something's off about Ji-tae. I wonder why So-wol is suddenly interested.
Also, wtf was that roadblock course on the way to school? Lmao.
Thanks for the update! Really nice chapter. It's good to see Ji-tae's inner struggle between what he considers right and what he needs to do in order to find his sister. This "street fighting" training arc is shaping up pretty nicely so far.
Ok. I checked back and the Fight Class 3 records seem to be from the previous year (The only file we see from the current year is Maria's 2nd-year record). This also explains why she wasn't involved in the incident between Maria and the 2nd-years the year before: It just wasn't her year lol...
I really like your theory about Maria fighting Lee Ja-kyung when she was in Fight Class 3. Just a little observation about the timeline: The incident that got the second year expelled was back in Maria's freshman year so it must have happened when Lee Ja-kyung was in her second year.
Maria...
Sloppy win but I'll take it lol.
Maria's special training already paying off. She's gonna toughen up Ji-tae by having him fight all these random thugs.
@0takuDragonSlayer almost a full semester has passed since the beginning of the series. This fight will be a good parameter to see how much progress has Ji-tae made since. I also like the fact that what Maria is doing right now, in regards to his training, is something she had previously...
Maria is such a sore loser. LMAO.
I'm curious about what the broadcasting president just found out about Maria's past in Brazil. Going by her reaction, it seems it was some pretty shocking stuff.
Also, Ban Jung-eum friends are killing me with their over-protectiveness xD.
@Mangareader @Lithe Because the father storyline has been set up as the endgame for the series (similar to Naruto becoming Hokage or Luffy becoming the Pirate King). Instead of rushing through MC's development by skipping the entirety of his school life just to get to the part where he finds his...
