@rafdian it's written as 'wwww' (or just 'w') in the raws, which is basically lol in Japanese. No one says that, but that's just how it is. It would be disingenuous to translate 'w' as normal laughing. FYI, I translate regular laughs as 'haha' and the likes.

@FiddlePop I've actually got no clue. It was literally 'Ma'（ま) in the raws, so I assumed he was stuttering to say something (in which case I could translate to the English equivalent), but there wasn't any follow-up lines where he said anything that began with ま. Maybe it's just a quirk he has...

@elephantNo5 This was explained a couple of chapters ago. Colonel = 'Daisan' in Japanese, so Dai-chan is a shortened nickname. Perhaps I should translate it as something like 'Col-chan' from now on to avoid confusion...

@Nogoodnms It's non-italicised by default, but the first couple of usages of it were italicised. You can see it in its regular version at the bottom-left of the first page. Unless you mean it all looks italicised either way?

@aylmao I think it's self-published since it's available on Pixiv, so I don't see how it could have been axed. I think it's just short. We'll see in ten chapters, I suppose.

Nozomi's ideal/wish was to live happily with Shino and Taichi, as seen in Page 18. But since Taichi has passed away, that wish is no longer possible. Hence "It can never be [fulfilled]".
