@spectrewolf28 If you like having more details, the novel is even more detailed than the manga, and is a pretty nice read. It's also ahead of the manga, and ahead of where season 2 of the anime will likely end.

@Kaarme That would be a funny twist. Kinda makes me think of Douluo Dalu where at the sequels, the MC is constantly trying to give away his god status, only to be refused every time :)

The moment the girls are playing defense (page 7), they talk about the play being too reckless, and that it was "a mistake". This is a translation mistake. It should have been translated as an Error. This is a baseball term.

@darknesspker Well, does it count as a cheating wife, when the girl was from the start a double agent-spy? She was never truly his wife, she only played the role to get into his inner circle and turn the tables on him with her true lover.

@Kaarme That's kind of the point of a medieval world, you don't earn respect, you're pretty much born with it or not. Status is everything in such a society... @Nighthawlc Have they announced how far the anime will go? Will it be half of the second arc (2 volumes), or the complete second arc...
