@Xystus I think smart phones are more likely to come with sizeable paper manuals in Japan since there is still a significant amount of older Japanese citizens who don't use PCs.
Is she going to improve her hypnosis technique and hypnotize him for real, or is his pretending to be hypnotized enough to convince her that she's already perfect at it?
@SuperOniichan An aquarium date is kind of a manga trope, though annoyingly, not tropey enough to be listed at TVTropes.
I thought Atsuko was into Hosaka, personally.
@twinklecake I believe the first year of high school for most students (of those that haven't skipped ahead or failed a year) is the school year from April to March in which one turns 16 years of age, meaning someone born in February or March will still be 15 for practically their entire first year.
I know this manga isn't supposed to be a realistic depiction of hypnosis but failing to get hypnotized once doesn't mean you can't be hypnotized. It could just mean that you were unable to focus properly or that you weren't willing to be hypnotized by the person hypnotizing you or the hypnosis...
Oh, right, I knew there was another "purple eyes" (well, more pink than purple in this case) manga that I read for a while on a different manga scan site around the same time that I started reading Wakame Konbu's My Recently Hired Maid is Suspicious but I had forgotten what it was. I'm glad to...
I know he's not part of the manga but I like the little Fuyuki at the bottom of the last page, I didn't think Fuyuki was a bad character. Chiaki could use a friend that she can relate to on her own level and Studio Asread gave her that kind of friend only to have him move away at the end of...
They might not have been thinking of American Thanksgiving but they were pretty close to stumbling on to a Japanese equivalent with their food festival, especially the Meat Day towards the end of November.
There actually is a Japanese Thanksgiving Day in November but it's Labor Thanksgiving...
Maybe the Christmas present is just a mug Yuuri made in arts and crafts or something like that.
I kinda feel like, if Yuuri was to give Lilith a ring, it would happen in the serialization, not in the Webcomic (which, after the serialization started, Wakame Konbu uses more for side story vignettes).
Considering that Wakame Konbu has just announced that My Recently-Hired Maid is Suspicious has come in third place in the Nico Nico readers' annual manga ranking for 2020, I doubt she's going to want to end this series any time soon.
If anyone is curious, the actual mall in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka is "May One" and it's attached directly to Hamamatsu Station.
Here it is in Google Street View., looking very much like the version in the manga.
ADDENDUM: If anyone is curious, the actual name for "Moonbucks Coffee Shop" is...
I thought this was going to be a set-up chapter where they win a trip to Okinawa (like in Non Non Biyori) or Hawaii but kelp chips are an acceptable substitute. At least if they taste good. I've never had them.
@smolbaka If I had to guess, he's probably closer to gay than bisexual at this point in his life but we really don't have enough information about whether he was sexually interested in girls at all at any point.
