@kurisu - How would the kids at her new school find out she was a boy? She IS a girl now , and they've always known her as a girl? Is she still using "ore" instead of "watashi" in the dialog? (Since it doesn't translate, unless you mention it in notes.)
Seems like there's a little bit of...
@Nakewameke - Must be keeping it JUST long enough to avoid being teased. It's rather contradictory, because she still considers herself a boy, but then she doesn't want to be teased for "looking like a boy."
@MavB_Ver - You just made MY point! The manga wasn’t written in romaji, was it? It would matter how Mayu PRONOUNCED it, which can only be conveyed by INCLUDING the extra vowel in romaji.
@Ulgan @Muphrid - That's rather what I was getting at. I don't have the raws, so I don't know how it was written, (and don't actually read Japanese, so I have to rely on Internet resources to "translate"), but my point was, WHY was it "Yuki-san", and then "Yuuki-kun?" (Yes, yes... the number...
@Kurisu - ARE the Kanji the same for Yuki and Yuuki? (Just asking.)
I thought "Yuki" was ゆき, ユキ, and "Yuuki" was ゆうき, ユーキ.
Of course, I don't see the raws, so I don't know what was there before scanlating, so...
If Tsutomu and Birdy flipped when they found out about Hinako's father, they are absolutely going to go APE-SHIT when they realize Nagasugi's consciousness being placed in a marionette body! (Which is what appears to have happened.)
@Nakewameke - I’m guessing that she still isn’t comfortable using the girls’ bathroom at school, and wants to avoid it, which begs the question, WHY then is she bathing with a friend she just met? That seems much worse.
Aaaand... there goes the NTR flag.
This was SO much better when it was the two of them learning about each other and falling in love. Then the author had to start adding rivals. Now we have a MALE rival! WTF?!
@jayjam - It’s more a case of never notice what was right next to you all along. Auska’s love for Kei is not new, she’s just decided to stop waiting for him to notice, and finally told him how she feels.
