Oh OF COURSE the threat that means nothing and would have next to no impact on anyone forces this to work, why can this terrible trope not die

Yeah this is like cool idea for a power and that's about it. Overly forced scenario with literally no buildup to invest you, or hell even shock factor.

Man the badly misunderstand words of somebody whose just trying to stop an uncomfortable situation trope is too played out

@KirbyMorph Yeah it sucks, though I tend to think the comment on that chapter about Japanese reception to her was so abysmal the mangaka just wrote her off that way to deal with the backlash

Axed or just author gave up? Either way I'm more than glad to see this end since this mc is such a bad archetype for this that the comedy didn't work past like mid chapter three.

@Uniquenickname Hell, season 2 had a fair bit of bad politics and insane characters shoving them down our throats, simultaneous blessing/curse to not get 3 at this point Edit: yeah I finished the rest of s2 today and I'll probably never dive into the manga knowing how much of a yikesfest it...

Basically a slightly better version of that other work in what the overall flow is, but that ending wasn't great... Extra chapter only moderately helps it

Put off reading this for a bit so I'd have some to binge, but knowing Emi isn't gonna win in the end is just as crushing

@Dwagen beyond tragic, get a new girl introduced and then forced out that quick @MangaRockRefugee that would've actually been nice
