@Junhina Octave does an overall fairly good job of that. There's some rough patches in the relationship but I remember it overall being a fairly good story. Shimanami Tasogare also has a well written lesbian couple, although they are not the main focus.

@a52 We've had a lot of the manga be about Mogumo finding people that are really nice and understanding. Even many of the ones who haven't been kind have come to better understand Mogumo over time. It makes sense that we were eventually going to see some people who really haven't been kind.

Man, even though I've never had to deal with any gender identity/sexual orientation issues with my parents, I still really felt this chapter. Just, living in a house where you're in fear of your parents, having to deal with this continual feeling of being unsafe.

As a mathematics teaching assistant, it really does my heart good to see this chapter.

In the next chapter or two she really needs to start actually putting some effort into this relationship. Just, her spending some time genuinely trying to learn about how he's doing and being supportive.

@Savirzki I mean, "College girls" is a term that people use so that could still work. I'd actually be pretty interested in a magical girl series where the characters are at that age. (Magical milfs could also be quite fun). I'm still happy with this series though.
