@thelonewolf WhisCalifa pretty much hit it on the head. The most telling part of it is the fact that we literally got parts of the story from her POV showing that yes, she is absolutely this obsessed with Kazuya. No matter how poorly this story develops, I don't think even this author is stupid...

Well, I caught up to this pretty quickly. It's got some charm, but man, is its pacing awful.

@WhisCalifa69 What makes you so sure about Ruka? I wouldn't be surprised, because she's a crappy plot device whose purpose in this story is basically to be a false lead and to paradoxically speed up the main couple's romantic development by hindering it, but you got any leads specifically?

I keep checking back in after I swear that I'm done with the series, HOPING that Kazuya's gotten some balls. I applaud stomping into her dying grandma's room with the computer to let her see the movie, but holy mackerel he's still such a giant weenie. And even spends a good part of the funeral...

@openeeyes They're pros in the sense that "at least it's not Domestic Girlfriend", but it's the same kind of angle and is still pretty sloppy about it.

I love how absolutely unwilling this manga is to fall into "Misunderstandings.exe"

Yeah, gave the first volume a try, but it's really not sticking. It feels like it wants to be Domestic Girlfriend, but no triangle and less punchable protagonists.
