I'll admit, I too saw the name and thought it was about scanlation conflict like @Xunder commented. This could make for a good occasion to rehabilitate the word Drama though.
There will be some initial confusion until the term Drama CD is more well known, if that's the generally accepted term...

Maybe it's because the inspiration comes more from the fantasy dating sims rather than RPGs where the main character usually is a hero wish superhuman abilities. Admittedly I only play the latter out of the two.
