the cover is super pretty! the art in the manga itself may not be as good but its still cute
more importantly, the story is really good. i paused reading several times imagining myself in a similar scenario. very good so far.
gender neutral they is still a thing so imo it was fine (although there's definitely times where using singular they them COULD be misgendering. idk how exactly the character/author would feel about it)
