For those not familiar: Edogawa Ranpo is one of the major mystery writers from Japan, his works also inspired the ongoing Meitantei Conan manga, including giving half of the MC's psuedonim "Edogawa Conan." ... and possibly also inspiring but is by no means a certainty... Regarding this work...

@villko05 The story definitely carries it, and it's very, very far from "Naruto type stuff" unless you're simply referring to anything related to science fiction. You should give it a another try despite your apparent dislike of the artstyle used. I can't garauntee you'll like it of course...

@justforthelulz Could be, but more likely it's an employer/employee thing. I'm pretty sure everyone there is getting paid anyway (or having their debts to the organization leveraged or something).
