Wow that escalated quickly. The MC became an instant idiot in one chapter. That's certainly up there with 'the worst reasons to reveal all your secret abilities to a complete stranger'.
"I still cannot abandon this land and its master." No, those are two separate things. 🙄 And one of them is easily more replaceable than the other.
The balloon following the MC has become annoying these past few chapters.
This MC has no backbone and will. He wavers at the slightest hint of personal conflict and holds no strong beliefs or well-reasoned ethics. This isn't necessarily bad, as long as the author provides good character growth and development.
...But I have no confidence in the author to do so.
Doesn't the MC having cleaning magic? He could have asked her to do plenty of other things -- so that she would still feel useful -- without having to waste half of her and the client's time. 😐
