Japanese mangaka really need to hire chefs as advisors. It's always junk food tier stuff being peddled as super revolutionary in isekais because those are the only food that the shut in mangaka eats in between sleeping under the desk at the office.
It's a satire of the low birthrate of Japanese people and the way their society hinders emotional attachment. Mix this with typical absurdist Jap humor.
This is a good manga. After the 1st few chapters I forgot it's an isekai and treat it like a sci-fi manga, a rare species these days. It's a nice change from all of the fantasy isekai stories.
