Grifith's face suprises me, he really look like he wasn't expecting this, he had the chat with them before, but he is still suprised by this situation.
@CyanHide It's the guy with the dagger, the problem is that he doesn't have his weapons.
This is really omminous, it makes me think of the gods/demons in Warhammer, though in warhammer thay were more like concepts that couldn't be destroyed because they were a part of reality, wilsth the guys here can be killed if you have enough strenght and a thick enough sword.
Why does the tragedy have to struck now? This was going beyond great, Caska finally resolved her feeling and so did Guts, there were no more traumas or complexes to torment them, the only thing left was love. And suddenly a shitton of monsters appear and kill everyone.
I feel like this was the right outcome, Grifith need to learn to let go and Guts to find his own dream, be it a big or small one. The thing that didn't end so well were unresolved feelings of Caska, maybe one day she'll try to find him, but for that she'll have to find the same resolve as Guts.
Hey, Grifith it's pretty egoistic. Acomplishing your dreams on the behalf of a mountain of corpses isn't good. Also, what was his dream? Was it to become a king?
@SSS26032002
Still, he murdered an inocent child, and it wasn't by instinct, it was an action taken to avoid being detected in his inflitration, the only diference is that he didn't know the person he was lurdering was a child.
Knowing that Grifith will become a demon makes me really sad, because it means he didn't have good intentions behind his mistery and ambition but plain egoism and pride.
Seeing how Grifith is now a demon and that one needs to do a sacrifice to become a demon I would suppose he sacrificed his whole scuad including Guts. That would explain why Guts has a sacrifice mark, and is also the reason why Guts hates Grifith with all the fire in his soul.
@ZeroNihilum You are right, I didn't think about it, but he will be the first person targeted by the traitor, because if he/she doesn't kill him he can become a pillar of trust to avoid discord. And the traitor needs discord to work properly.
