@Phantonn1
You missed the joke.
It's not about the law preventing him from being adding to a story.
It's more like it is mandatory by law to have him in every story.
But once again, it's joke, not a literal law.
Even if we go by stereotypes, I'm not sure which one it is here.
Either the kind guard who is trying to test or teach the MC...
Or the evil guard who mugs unsuspecting travelers.
I'd go for the former. The second one seems a bit stupid in this case. That could work in a world where the guard...
@Kidawesome55
I don't think she changed attitude that much.
Her first impression of him was right, and she didn't even see him take down the goblin pack. She was disappointed when she learned he was a "lost person", whic has been established as an extreme weakness in this world. However, she did...
Ok, that's really bs now.
It's not a matter of "seeing" anymore.
Changing your time perception, I can accept.
Actually changing the time flow so that you generate more kinetic energy, that's a whole different set of skills.
I'll take @Owyn 's bet that it can get worse. At this stage, the author...
A similar start to one of the stories where the hero is an op villager who tries to protect the "hero" girl he likes.
Also a little similar in concept to that light hearted story where the hero is "classless" but learns skills from other classes through effort and obstination.
Not too bad a...
The goddess was really not helpful there. I don't know if she didn't want to or wasn't allowed to explain the rules, but sending a random office worker to a game-type med-fan world, not telling them that they will be stuck at level of they don't take a specific skill, and keep the skill...
Seriously, this chapter seems completely out of place.
A set of "japanese" clothes out of nowhere, in a world that is not an isekai, so there is no hint that "Japan" is a thing to begin with. (Then again, this could be a problem with the translation team. I'm curious what the raws say about it.)...
Actually, I do find credible that "lost persons" would die easily in such a world.
If they are mostly our average modern day person from a first-world country, they would probably have a hard time adapting to a dangerous environment like a medieval-fantasy world.
Add the arrogance of getting all...
"Will the king slime hold the orcs back long enough?"
Well, my question is rather: "will there be any orc left for the magician girl to fry after the king slime is done with them?"
That thing is as big as a small building and is hardly damaged by physical attacks. As long as it keeps its core...
"You've got thief, assassin and torture. Not very honorable skills", says the black cat with thief, assassin and torture skills. :D
More seriously, why the switch to half-chapters here too?
Is that the new standard of manga scanlations?
@Lustrius
Actually, I agree with the MC on that point, though not for this superficial reason.
The girl looks like she comes from a medieval setting, so it seems unreasonable at first glance that they would have advanced medical knowledge.
However...
1. It's obvious that the MC has supernatural...
Is "the system" a form of inheritance test for the actual shadow monarch? Or for someone even above?
I didn't expect the creator of "the system" to get into a duel with his "player".
At least not before encountering the other monarchs that were introduced earlier.

https://mangadex.org/title/16678/choujin-sensen > Starts with a few duels of "espers" versus "masters of a certain skill". Opens with the telekinesist I mentioned.

@MuscleTheMan
It seems my position on the subject is not clear.
The harem concept is not necessarily bad in itself. I'm just a little annoyed at how the concept is over-user recently, as if some authors are just thinking "I have this idea of a story, and adding a harem will automatically make it...
Some good points... No level, game screen, and "I'm OP because numbers". The character starts strong (when she understands her power at least) but not quite OP (soldiers have a kind of strength that she doesn't have. Not yet at least). Backstory kind of justifies the attempt to kill the hero...
OK, this chapter makes no sense.
As said by others above, it makes no sense that "Leo" gets killed out of the blue by the knight despite 1. "forest technique" which has already demonstrated its effectiveness and 2. being a green card so the "black killer" shouldn't activate. He's an elf but...
@degenerateafro
You make one point that is actually a problem.
I didn't have a problem with the "magic system" being completely broken by this character. Max levels and magic categories could be just some limit that people put on themselves due to a limited comprehension of "magic". Much like...
