@DirkHardpeck I don't think it's the norm for highschoolers to have their own place, so we can safely assume he's at least college aged (18). This is just my opinion, but it's in no way acceptable to be dating a middle school girl at that age.

@Oeconomist I can't tell whether you're joking or being sincere, but in an earlier chapter Nijika explains that Ryou actually gets a lot of pocket money but wastes it all on instruments. The hunger aspect of it is exaggerated for comedic effect.

Read this thinking it would be a music themed Hitoribocchi ripoff, but I actually really liked it. It also leans a bit more into the loner aspect than Hitoribocchi does.
