Congrats on the new restaurant, hope it goes well for you! I've made ramen from scratch and it was a huge pain in the ass, so I admire the commitment in opening a ramen place.
@ScarecrowB Didn't you read the chapter before this one? They're both pretty nuts and I'm willing to bet that in real life this relationship would probably end in a murder-suicide.
@Yazura tell that to my parents who have been married for almost three decades but will still 'go on dates' and refer to each other as boyfriend/girlfriend when they're being flirty in front of their adult children.
@Acolytus earlier in the series the dad said that it's something he does for all of the employees of the company since he considers them all to be family.
Typically, when the heroine is also reincarnated, it usually means the story is setting them up as the actual villain. This was an interesting reversal the first few times I've read it, but it's becoming really played out; hopefully that isn't actually the case here..
Minor problem with the TL, the last line should end with an ellipses (...), because ending it with a question mark just makes it seem like granny is asking if they are guys.
Just once I want the shitty train/firework/other loud noise trope to end with the person being confessed to having heard regardless. Would be such a breath of fresh air.
The sous vide circulator illustrated in this chapter is the first gen Anova Precision Cooker, which is what made the technique accessible to at home cooks. Pretty cool stuff.
@Abetillo As someone who's tried to precision cook proteins both before and after buying this device, I have to disagree...
