@Rach1d What I'm saying is that I don't find fan service to be inherently bad, but it’s usually reached a level that is ridiculous more often with female characters who look like page 3 models. Not to mention my earlier point that just because his character is good looking doesn't mean that we...
@Rach1d In a medium rife with Big Tiddy Anime Girls™, I don't think one character meant to be female fan service is so egregious. Not to mention it's pretty clear there's more to his story that we haven't seen yet.
@someunregpunk And the title would be, "I'm A Super Depressed Sentient Truck Who Keeps Changing Drivers Because My Drivers Keep Falling Asleep At the Wheel and Driving Into People Who Come Across My Path - Life in Another World as a Truck Queen"
@Hitspark I don't mind the drama per se, but it seems like the only way authors achieve this (at least in this genre), is to introduce a new character solely for the purpose of creating a love triangle. There are plenty of other ways of creating dramatic tension to draw people in, especially...
Ugh, I'm beginning to think one of the requirements of becoming a mangaka is having a fetish for love triangles. They happen in virtually every fucking romance manga even though I've only seen it happen once in real life.
I appreciate the work NASS puts in translating their manga, but if a series hasn't had a chapter released in months then I think it's more than fair for other parties to scanlate; since it suggests that group has bitten off more than they can chew.
@Trueflame001 This might be kinda sad (I don't know, you tell me), but I enjoy seeing acts of kindness like this, even if they are fictional. I feel as though I don't really see them a lot, especially nowadays when people are even more sequestered from each other than they were before.
Yes, the guy lost his source of income (for the time being), but that's exactly how companies like this keep going. If nobody says anything, and nobody leaves, out of fear of retaliation, then nothing will change. I think the girl's actions are actually commendable.
@Akera93 I agree, but sometimes the stakes can become real down the line. Like when the players get trapped in the game world (SAO, New Gate), or when the NPCs gain sentience (Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudouki).
Thanks for the scanlation group for TLing this manga up until now; my only concern is that I need to remember this manga in like a year or so when they've finally caught up to this chapter.
How would him being Rene's husband even work? If she takes 15 years to become an adult, I doubt the 495 year old dragon child will suddenly become an adult in the same amount of time.
It might just be the manga I read but it seems so rare for a story to be told without meandering or being cut short. I'm glad that this manga got its due and then ended in a satisfying way.
