I realized I'm a bit lost on the characters and relationships on this manga... Guess it's time to go back and reread a few chapters.
Anyway, so, even if unintentionally, soccer guy was actually a bit of an asshole huh. He may improve but I don't think I want him near the MCs
I always find it strange when someone opens up and reveal such personal thoughts and life philosophies to what amounts to a stranger they met twice, and the other party just accepts that. But whatever, such a nice character, I really like the fact that she overcoming her disability has nothing...
I really hope there is no Shirogane mommy complex arc next. Just solve everything with Kaguya's family and let them go to the university together.
Unless of course the author is willing to use it to set up a (permanent please) break up. It would be really bold of Aka if they're not a couple...
Actually, I like the idea of the (girl)friend not becoming a hero and keeping on being just emotional support at least for now. Not everyone needs to be a hero or needs powers to be someone's hero.
There wasn't much to talk about in this one right? What was so funny about what Koishikawa said in the end?
Well, having one here for each country sure leaves space for a lot of possibilities. Just hope the author keeps doing a good job on creating interesting characters for each one instead of...
Wow what a huge backlash for such an inoffensive character. Next chapter we'll probably be back to the usual routine. I bet Omichi will be there only for when the characters need someone to talk to aside from each other.
@greatninja3 Yeah I was thinking of something along these lines. Maybe her flames/heat activates positive feelings or memories in the nearby people like what happened to Stardust. It would allow them to fight the ring's influence themselves. The fire motif is still really boring to me tho
Ah, come on, fire? The most boring and unimaginative powers ever? Surely the author could do better than this. I hope there's at least some kind of twist in it as burning people down isn't how I expect someone like Shy to go around solving everything.
@gartender Surely some people may have mistaken the names at some point, but so far into the series I'm sure it's just a meme. Just like some people call Iida from BnH Lida
I never gave much thought about this until the recent developments, but Iino's joke about being so disconnected from reality and being being used for jokes about abusive relationships are starting to bother me a bit now. Glad (or not) that at least according to the comments I'm not the only one.
Great job to the team. I love when translators put on Translation Notes explaining their choices even (especially) when those aren't needed for the understanding of the chapter. It's so fun learning about the translation process and trying to figure out how it would've gone if it was translated...
Well, if you add causality count this early, even if it was zero this time, you'll have to use it to escalate the tension later. I'd rather it kept fluffy and wholesome but let's see where this goes
