Ok, I think this has to he the correct version. I dont think the author would just straight up make Itou a crazy stalker like that out of nowhere. It felt really out of place in the other translation.

I've read some of the other manga this artist has worked on, and I gotta say, their art style really works well here. It's so different seeing the monogatari characters in this style though.

I feel like this manga is a bit less heavy than his other works, but in a good way. It's a nice change of pace. Still a bit harsh at times, but no where near as harsh as punpun or any of his shorter manga. A little more brutal than solanin though.

I'm re reading since asano is working on this manga again (check out his youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/c/InioAsano3), and this chapter fucks me up every time.

I retract all previous criticisms I had of this manga. This is good.

I dont give a fuck, call me a moron, but this shit is disappointing in my opinion. I've seen it a million times now. Villan just wants a world with no hurt. That's kinda lame, to the point where I cant sympathize with that perspective. It's so childish and obvious how boring that world would be...

This manga is decent, but god I hate shonen tropes. "dOn'T oPeN tHe DoOr AnD uNlEaSh ThE bEaSt." So fucking cliche and annoying. Personal opinion though. I know most people dont think its annoying. I just do.
