I love that everyone gets mad at Satoko for not acting age-appropriately with a child, and then Shiikawa is all "Oh yeAH? WeLL I uSEd tO DaTE hER, so ThERE!" There are no mature adults in this manga. Just big dumb kids.

@darudius The official translation is only up to ch 28. And I believe that using official translations could get us in a lot of legal trouble anyways.

I really like the imagery in this chapter. Really gives us a good look into Satoko and her issues. One of my favourite chapters so far. In case you're wondering, a ticket to Sendai from Tokyo is about 115 dollars US, and the trip is almost two hours. Mashuu is a little psycho (and I love it)...

@tedthesun I assume that's what it's insinuating. Satoko has wondered about that in the past as well, but whatever the backstory is hasn't been revealed.

I really love this chapter. Motoki is kinda a horrible parent, and I love how they introduce his return with "ah, there's water on the floor, must be dad." And yet, you can tell he's a guy who does care about his kids. I think my favourite thing about this Manga is that there are no bad people...

Many of the concerns in the comments have already been addressed in the manga, or will be addressed in the coming chapters. We've had a year-long hiatus, so I would recommend going back and rereading the story. Satoko saying she wants Mashuu to expand his world is a reference to chapter 28...

I'd be okay with him ending up with Ogata, and I think the author will do a good job of it if that's how it turns out. but I'm def shipping him with Satoko

Nakain here. This chapter was fairly straightforward, so the update was quick. But in general, this is a very wordy and complicated manga, and is usually above my reading level. I love this manga, so I'm excited to translate it, but future updates will not be this quick. Thank you for your patience.
