@lizsa123 i dont think we are supposed to like her, she's a ruthless noble, respected by her people and her only trait that has been presented as something good is how much she cares for her brother. Its not like she is even close to her redemption arc, we've only just started to know her.

The characters are truly interesting. Be it Lamia, Uriel or the 2nd prince and the story especially captures the ruthlessness of nobility exceptionally well. It feels like each noble family are clouded in layers of mystery and depth which i think is often lost in this genre, families are usually...
These are certainly horrible things to do but they are definitely not pointless. This series really illustrates how ruthless Nobles are in protecting themselves.
100 chapters in, the second major character development of the male protagonist is here, while its a good one, i do hope this trend continues instead of another 70 chapters of stagnation of him.
