@zefixlul Based on the comments from the translator here and there, when translating this, I suspect they dropped it because of how far it strayed from the novel. As the translator appears to be a fan of the novel and this adaptation has bastardized it.

It's probably not enough to warrant its own tag, but I mean, there are manga that have comedy and romance tags that definitely wouldn't be classified as romcoms especially if you see a tragedy tag.

I'll see how this turns out but at the moment, I just can't suspend my disbelief of the way this "child" acts and thinks because the author has failed to provide a proper or believable backstory for her character, suffice to say, it isn't very believable.

Pocket Mirror deserves a good adaptation in either manga or anime form. Although adapters really need to understand that you can't just copy rpg maker games 1:1 otherwise the pacing and logic becomes really jarring and terrible.
