@Yiledute I believe so too, since she draws Nao a lot. It's almost as though she isn't sure whether to want Nao for herself or ship him with Sheng, since that miscommunication several chapters ago led her to believe the boys are a couple. Their dynamic obviously fascinates her.
Emotionally wrought side arc almost jumped the shark before leading back to main ship, which is now sweeter without becoming empty fanservice. Glad I stuck with this.
Agree that it's too soon for kissing. Implied rather than explicit kissing (etc, once they're no longer minors) means we won't have to put up with moronic flower faces obscuring all points of contact, or chick cartoons over genitals.
