This was one hell of a chapter.
But it kinda sucks it was only a dream and it won't happen like this. I really liked Kaji's sentence about God, Devil and Humans. Goes nicely along his character development in his last gamble against the conspiracy guy.
If I was Lalo, I would object to these rules. The way of deciding which card wins basically means he is putting his life in trusting Nowa as a referee. If Nowa is not fair, Lalo is doomed.
@catx If #0 goes to Nowa, then there is no problem for Usogui, as he would be Baku's referee in the event of Yakous death.
However, seeing that Kadokura is #2 now, it is questionable on how the numbers are assigned when a referee dies.
I think Kadokura is only Kaji's exclusive referee for the duration of Ban. If you recall the Abandoned Mine Game, when Baku was still not a member, it was made clear that Yakou was Kaji's exclusive ref there.
I remember how after the chapter where Baku lost his finger, there were comments (which I agreed with) that it seemed unnecessary for regular Baku. Booom, this chapter addresses it.
@belkrax Pretty sure Amen is a man, he has a mustache XD
Nobuko looks really creepy in the first page.
Also, I wonder what would happen if one of the allies, like Kaji, became kaizer? Would he get to play Surpassing leader? If I remember correctly, this wasn't specified.
This is giving me the poker game vibes.
The thing is, if Kaji can get his hands on some Bios without Floyd knowing about it, he will gain the advantage again.
Such as, if he actually had more bios without knowing about it.
@dbpop Exactly. This is a move straight out of Usogui's book. Normally, Kakerou would try to have Robert remain on the island, to ensure that the location of the island will not be found by Ideal.
However, due to Vincent losing this bet, Kakerou now has an obligation to get Robert out of the...
