I'm not sure I get Shamiko's "we're all companions who have cheated death" line.
I mean Shamiko did with the whole childhood illness thing, but I don't know how she'd make that assumption about Momo and Ogura.
Oh hey, so Mamizou is gonna be a mainstay? She's always nice to have around to throw a wrench into things.
And as far as humans "knowing the truth about Gensoukyou", that seems to me to be intentional. If the humans think the village is a cattle ranch, they're more scared of the Youkai, which is...
@ara_ara
If you remember the future info-dump from like 20 chapters ago, not only does he know about the espers he knows that he's the one directly responsible for creating them. But after being told all of that he still says fuck it I want Rocksion anyway.
@thofheinz
I mean we have seen strong demons. Lico is morally bankrupt and strong enough to be a threat, and though we don't know whether he was a danger the snake deity was very large and powerful even when sealed.
And as a side note, I'm pretty sure if any magical girls count as having gone...
Not spoiled yet, but I'm thinking the "attack" on page 14 was actually Maou trying to kill one of them. We're supposed to take it to mean she's after the Magical Girl, but I'm betting she's actually trying to kill Jahy.
My theory is Maou gave the Magical Girl her powers and told her to destroy...
@Airwave2k2
That's the Fresh Peach® Tail
Whenever Momo made vessels for Lillith she made the tail into that signature shape. The body Lillith is inhabiting was also made by Momo, and made permanent by the snake, so it also had that peachy tail.
@gsimy
Mamizou isn't really evil, she's just very cunning and always looking for an angle to benefit herself. I'll agree she is more dangerous than the punch-drunk Onis of Touhou though.
The mirrors being broken are probably a way to suppress the demon's influence. From the looks of it last chapter the demon didn't so much live in the mirror as manifest through it, probably something to do with the idea of a mirror reflecting what you desire ala various myths or it showing an...
Oh man, that's king Derghal sitting at the head of the table. His soul is long gone, dissolved at the very start of the series. Sad that his body is just sitting there undying for all eternity.
@Flare77
Except that "recap" misses the several chapter development of Arte realizing that the previous hinderances to her being an artist could in fact be, and have been, strengths for her career. Not to mention the undercurrent of why she refused to stay in Venice. It wasn't entirely for...
@IHavoc
Did she ever appear in a non-human form, because I don't recall that ever happening? Either way I'm pretty sure she couldn't just change her human form willy nilly like that. I don't think her "human form" is really a form, it's just her body.
@Onsokumaru
Where are you seeing that? This chapter he's dissolving as he flys off, and when his parts were taken earlier they were taken directly by the village
Saying the other TL just wants attention then doing this and writing an essay... Not to mention the quality's a step down.
Thanks, but I'll be sticking with KiraraScan.
@VIVIT
I think you're fundamentally misunderstanding something. This Mitty never left the village, and neither did Belafu, she was created BY the village in exchange for Belafu's parts.
Belafu had the desire to recreate Mitty after seeing the original brought down by Bondrewd, who then left...
