I'm glad for Sorawo's reasonable approach to Toriko sleeping naked, really nice after seeing dumb tropes for years.
Man, I kinda wish they actually got to have a extended break for a while, but I guess things are just going to get worse considering they're just getting more attached to the...
Perhaps I should always read new chapters at night.
Wonder if we'll find out more about how the multiple perceptions of the same thing works now, considering Sorawo sees it as both the snake monster and just six metal bars.
Hope the shocked face is just Aki realizing she left the band because Aki had a crush and it wasn't on her, what a petty girl after all the talk about being serious. She doesn't deserve even leftovers.
@Chizan
The beach woman called her a mermaid, and then in the later panels, a huge serpent being rips the beach woman to shreds, and then Shiori comes back with blood all over. I'd believe they know what they're talking about so they're not wrong about what kind of monsters they are, I just...
I don't remember mermaids becoming huge serpents when in water, she looks more like a leviathan or something? Well, atleast that would make her wanting to eat her(in the literal way) make more sense than a mermaid.
Well, she did say they're probably not sane anymore, I guess this plan just confirms it.
Still, this has got to be the one story in QUITE A LONG TIME that I've actually become so interested in, It's really hard to not just dive into the novels to find out what happens...
Vol 1 is tagged as yuri in dengeki bunko, Vol 2 is not. Take that as you will, I doubt you people should have high hopes for them ending up together or anything of the like, though.
@DukeHermann
Who cares about the warrior "hero"? those guys couldn't even beat that other demon general, and now Frieren couldn't take down this dragon on one magic, but a random guy can. Maybe the hero party actually just sucked. They had serious issues with enemies that seems rather weak so...
And now the new guy one shots it. Seriously?
Super duper kill magic can't dent it but some training from random dude who never fought before one shots it.
Sayaka gave her a better lesbian experience than Mai did in one night, not sure why she'd still bother chasing Mai all things considered.
Funny enough, that gives a more concrete reason as to why Asumi won't mind fucking a whole list of girls before finding her.
@Mr-BoyMan_Dude
She did kill him with pure stronk magic, though. She used his own attack at him and he melted instantly. With how magic seemed to be researched so thoroughly, I'd imagine dragon killer magic would also be on the menu, it's been 50+ years now. He isn't magic immune, since Frieren...
What a meh development. They just beat a demon general that not even the old hero party that defeated the demon king could, almost effortlessly, and suddenly for a generic dragon they need a tank? Why is the certain-kill magic already obsolete within a few chapters? All the world-building going...
Still don't get why Sadie is Jahy's "fated buddy", seems like they were in the same unit, but wasn't there more demons in that unit too? Guess they work in duos.
