To be entirely honest, while I don't hate the characters and the story is fine, the comedy in this manga is one joke recycled ad nauseam. I don't even think the scrubber thing got a laugh out of me the first time it became relevant.

Main characters who we're supposed to root for supporting slave auctions and not actually doing anything about it when they have power is like my biggest pet peeve. Hopefully it ends any other way then just buying the dude for loads of money.

Well, that's disappointing. Scars/burns both add flavour to the character design and remind for both the reader and character that there are consequences for being wounded within the universe. Can we just have ONE world with real ass healing magic in it that doesn't completely erase the stakes...
