@Riri I didn't. It's also because in the last chapter, Suzuki clearly stated with a smile;
"The reason they were bullied is because of who they are. People who are bullied lack social skills, and can't adapt to their situation. Those kinds of worthless failures... I wouldn't be able to love...
So I'm guessing Aizawa is trying to get her father to witness Suzuki at her lowest, and repent for his actions of the past. But at the same time, I gotta wonder, does Suzuki even love his daughter? I figure the mother does if anybody, but her only real support is her mother, that female...
So where did those delinquents get those weapons from? I find it hard to believe they didn't leave the forest and founds weapons that look like something you'd find at lv. 50+.
Not even the athletes weapons are that impressive. 🤔
I think Aizawa not helping her is because right now, she's not worth (in my own words/perspective) helping. Especially since he can see the bastard's selfish influence on her. But at the very least, I think by the next or the chapter after, things will start to look less depressing.
Is this the infamous "Misunderstanding and Miscommunication Arc", where MC loses quite a bit of development and self-confidence?
I would hope not because not only should he be intelligent enough at this point to be have genuine faith in her commitment to the relationship, but also the suspect...
@wildyukari91 He did reject him, but by SJ being a public figure, it'd be easy to catch his departure. He can't stop him from coming of his own will either.
In a sense, it's like; "I'm not following you, I just happen to be have the same destination."
