Somehow the "betrayal" looks even less dramatic in the manga. Somehow the classmates, while bastards, doesn't seem as vile as they were in the novel either where it kind of felt like everyone hated his guts.

Can't really feel any drama or suspense since I know everything that happens, but I like re-reading it, especially the manga version since I've never read that version before, I just read the original.
