I feel the real problem with this story is that the MC is a passive hero. He doesn't have any goals. All the things happening to him is because he happened to help a cat deity than happened to pass by the mc who happened to be from a different world with powers. He is just reacting at people...
So the main protagonist still wants to get rich and live comfortably in the modern world right? Does she even go back there anymore? She could turn her land into an economic powerhouse with modern tech... etc... sigh...
Seeing how the author makes this one too (The Hero Who Returned Remains the Strongest in the Modern World
) I guess misunderstanding is the only thing the author knows how to do?
Sooo many stories of the MC being ignorant of their power compared to the story's world's norm. It hurts to read some times :I Too bad I like fantasy manga too much.
Hope the kingdom that summoned the mc falls to ruin quickly and painful. They did after all summon him then basically sent he away to be killed by the curse they placed on his stuff.
