Looks like a time slip (that's what we call it, right?) to me. Since the candy was real, it couldn't have been a ghostly mirage shop. They probably somehow ended back in time when grandma was still young. Also, I prefer time travel over ghost buildings. LOL.

Although I'm still a beginner at JP, this might be helpful to the scanslators: I think that in JP dialogue of panel 2 in page 2, they were talking quietly to each-other about Guri-san & not directly to him. It reminds me of how confusing JP's context-dependence feels sometimes.
