@nobreadsticks I think it's alright in concept. They just didn't know how to fit him into the dynamic at first. I think it's better when his antics are more of a backdrop and not the direct focus.

@Glomoro I doubt she thinks they were being put up to it. According to Endou his girlfriend does this sort of thing often, which Togawachi is probably aware of too. And it's not uncommon for parents to try to matchmake for their kids unsolicited. I think she's just genuinely not interested...

@Snegerd Like, sarcastically? Because I usually don't get the jokes either but I've never once cared. It's just an inside joke not intended for me from someone who did a translation in their personal time. Sperging out instead of just ignoring it is way more "cringe".

@leetolebaby Most of them lived their lives. Except March. I don't know why the hell she needed to die, I think that was pretty fucked up on Tonari's part. March could have moved on. Most of the manga has been at least in part about learning how to move on.

@miyako19 They melted... Even as a skeptic I would assume they were some sort of extraordinary lifeform. And remember the MC also believed she was an alien shortly after meeting. It's more the fact that she seemed totally unfazed by the revelation or any of the details surrounding it that was weird.

I wonder why he couldn't resurrect the princess. I guess her spirit didn't linger?
